Thunder Roll In Opening Round of MCAC Playoffs

The FDLTCC Thunder rolled to a 60-0 win over Vermilion Community College in the MCAC State Quarterfinals Friday at Public Schools Stadium in Duluth. The Thunder amassed 624 yards of offense to 116 for Vermilion.

The Thunder (6-3) defense was led by safety Rial Wells, who had four tackles, four interceptions, 1 TD, and a fumble recovery. Wells leads the MCAC with 9 INT’s.

The #1 seeded Thunder will host the winner of the Rochester-Ridgewater game on October 27th at PSS with the game time to be announced.
