The Hermantown Hawks wrapped up another Lake Superior Conference girls volleyball championship on Tuesday night with a 3-1 win over the Cloquet Lumberjacks.

Stephanie Kallberg, Nicole Kenzie and Katie Thun combined for 43 kills as the Hawks won by scores of’ 25-20, 16-25, 25-13 and 25-16 in Hermantown.

For the record, Kallberg led the Hawks with 15 kills, while both Kenzie and Thun pounded down 14 kills in the game.

Emily Neumann led the Hawks offense with 41 set assists as the Hawks improved to 24-2 on the season.

Sami Westendorf had a big night for Cloquet with 14 kills and seven digs, while Alex Oakes finished with 23 set assists, 14 digs and three blocks. Abbie Anderson added eight digs and three ace serves for Cloquet which finishes the regular season with a record of 13-13.
