The Cloquet Lumberjacks hosted a football scrimmage on Saturday at Cloquet High School. The six-team scrimmage featured Carlton, Denfeld, Marshall, Two Harbors, Virginia, as well as host Cloquet.

After starting practice on August 17th, this format gave players the much needed “someone in a different color uniform to hit” as well as giving coaches a chance to evaluate talent before the season starts.

This year’s prep football season starts on September 3rd fo some teams and September 4th for others.
