The roll continues for the South Ridge Panthers volleyball team. Thursday night the Panthers improved their record to 9-3 by taking a 3-1 win over the Duluth Marshall Hilltoppers. South Ridge won by scores of 25-15, 25-12, 22-25 and 25-22.

Justice Janke provided a ton of offense for the Panthers with 16-kills, three blocks and five digs as South Ridge continues to shock the local volleyball circles. After HUGE graduation losses in personnel last year, the Panthers are taking the term ‘youthful exuberance’, to a whole new level.

Mikayla Olesiak also was strong for South Ridge with eight kills and 100% serving. Callie Thomason added 31-set assists, while Krystal Karppinen recorded eight kills and seven digs. Lindsey Janke was impressive for the Panthers with 12-digs as South Ridge continues to impress with a ton of team depth.

Leading the Hilltoppers was Briana Anderson with nine kills and Maddie Schenk with 16-set assists.

The Panthers will be back at it on Tuesday when they travel to Cherry to take on another strong team in the Tigers.
