Amanda Belden is back for the Esko volleyball team and on Tuesday she led her team to a 3-0 win over Virginia with 10-kills. The Eskomos won 25-20, 25-21 and 25-18.

Esko was happy to have one of their stronger hitters back after suffering through a nagging early season injury that kept her out of the line-up. However, Esko didn’t just improve to 3-1 because of one player, the entire Eskomo line up continues to impress, including Courtney Johnston, who had 30 set assists as well as Hailey Salo and Nicole Mitchell who each had nine kills.

Virginia’s offense was led by setter Kayli Oakman, who had 10 set assists and Rachel Brinkman who have five kills. The Blue Devils also got 10-digs from Cheyenne Pasch 10-digs and Sydney Souder added eight-kills.

Esko had lost the first match of the season to Hermantown, but since has bounced back to win three matches in a row and the Eskomos will host Two Harbors on Thursday night.
