In a repeat of last week’s state softball tournament, Mother Nature has caused significant delays in the Minnesota Class AA State Softball Tournament scheduled for Thursday at Dick Putz Field in St. Cloud.

The Proctor Rails game against Minneapolis Washburn, which was originally scheduled for 3:00pm, has been moved back to 8:00pm.

The first game of the day between Holy Family Catholic H.S. and Cannon Falls was originally scheduled to kick off the tournament at 10:00am. With thunderstorms in the St. Cloud area not expected to pass until about noon, that first game has been rescheduled to 3:00pm. The second first round game featuring Roseau and Fairmont is slated to begin at 5:30 pm instead of the original 12:30 start time.

Northland Sports Online will have all the details, highlights, and photos when they become available. The game also will be broadcast on WKLK 96.5 FM.
