The South Ridge Panthers dispatched the McGregor Mercs 15-4 in girls softball on Monday at Braun Park in Cloquet. Once again the Panthers rode the strong pitching arm of Kendra Dallmann to the victory that took just six innings.

Dallmann gave up just two hits and struck out 10 Mercs in the win. The senior pitcher also allowed three walks in the game.

Senior catcher Alyssa Johnson delivered some big hits for the Panthers including a 3-for-5 effort. Shortstop Kourtney Karppinen also had a big day for the Panthers by smacking out three hits of which two were triples. Karppinen also scored three times for the Panthers.

The win moves the Panthers to 4-2 on the season. They will have a quick turnaround and travel to Northeast Range for a 4:00 and 5:30 double header on Tuesday.
