Cloquet 11yr Olds Qualify For State MBT Tournament

The Cloquet 11 year old baseball traveling team qualified for the MBT State Tournament by winning the St. Anthony 11AA Tournament on June 13 & 14.

As champions, they receive a paid entry to the MBT State Tournament in July. NSO would like to wish this fine group of young athletes good luck at state.

Austin Parenteau of Cloquet proudly displays the “King of Swat” trophy, an engraved wooden bat. Parenteau won the St. Anthony Home Run Derby held during the tournament. Way to go Austin!

The four highest finishers included two from Cloquet: Austin Parenteau and Rob Sobczak.
