7AA All-Section Softball Team Announced

Section 7AA has announced their All-Section Team this week. The All-Section Team is voted on by the section coaches with players nominated to the team by the head coaches of their prospective teams.

The Hermantown Hawks and Virginia Blue Devils each had four players named to the team due to their high finish in sectional play. Megan Mullen of Hermantown and Virginia’s Kristen Predovich lead the team, the pair hooked up for 3 memorable games in the championship round of sectional play.

Joining Mullen from Hermantown was; Ellen Folman, Steph Thun and Julia Gilbert, while Ashley Shereck, Brittany Oakman and Nikki Jasura from Virginia were also named to the team.

Katrina Korman of Cloquet was joined by teammate Rachel Smith on the team, while Esko also had a pair of players make the squad in Erin Emanuel and Kelsey Saralampi.

Shortstop Amanda Larson was the one representative from Moose Lake-Willow River on the team.

Also making the team were; Kelsey Klucus (Aitkin), Cammie Triggs (Two Harbors), Dankia Stelton (International Falls), Shelby Thoreson (Eveleth-Gilbert), Stephanie Carlson (Duluth Marshall), Katie Gilderman (Proctor), Nicolle Gross (Greenway), Misa Matetich (Hibbing).
