Two Esko High School students inked their names to national letters of intent on National Signing Day. Kate Shelerud and Caitlin Lilly committed to play their sport at the collegiate level.

Shelerud has committed to the University of Minnesota to compete in track and cross country. Shelerud made a total of five state tournament appearances in her cross country career at Esko and most recently helped the Eskomos to a third place finish at the 2011 state cross country meet which was held at the College of St.Olaf.

Lilly will take her soccer skills to Winona State University. Lilly led the Eskomos as well as the area in scoring with 24 goals and four assists in her senior season. She also helped Esko-Carlton to their second ever state tournament appearance and the first since 2005.
