Trapp Reaches 1000 Career Points Against Proctor

Savannah Trapp scored her 1,000th point and the Esko girls basketball team, ranked #5 in the state, handled Proctor 77-29 on Monday night in Esko.

For the night Trapp finished with 31 points and she added six rebounds four blocks for the Eskomos who improved to 11-1 on the season. Proctor managed just 10 first half points against the Eskomos.


Trapp, while only a junior becomes the eighth person to break the 1000 point barrier in the history of the storied Esko Girls basketball program.

Esko also got a 12 point night from Marisa Shady, eight points from Stephanie Bandelin and Megan Reuer, Brooke Schramm finished with six, it was four points for Ashley Bergerson, while Kallyn Knutson, Bailey Mudek and Steph Miller all finished with a pair of points.

Leading Proctor was Bridget Tesser with eight points, Micayla Westendorf had seven, Kyra Harty scored four, it was three for Kyla Merrill and two each for Steph Torgeson, Brianna Westendorf and Kortney Hjerpe, while Joelle Bolos finished with a point.


The Eskomos will next host Wrenshall on Thursday.
