Wilderness Split in Minot

Joseph Harguindeguy led the Minot offense with two goals and an assist as the Minotauros defeated the Minnesota Wilderness 4-2 Friday night in Minot.

Damon Zimmer and Zach Kilen also scored for Minot in the win.

Mitchell Allard and Christian Galatz netted goals for the Wilderness in their first game of the season. Keenan Rancier won his second game of the year as he turned aside 42 shots while Kaleb Johnson made 26 saves in the loss for Minnesota.

Dominkis Marcinkevics scored the game winning goal at the 2:49 mark of overtime as the Minnesota Wilderness picked up their first win of the 2020-21 season, defeating the Minot Minotauros 5-4.

Five different members of the Wilderness found the back of the net including Dane Stoyanoff, Mitchell Allard, Ethan Welters and Gunner Thoreson.

Atticus Kelly picked up the win in the crease, making 21 saves. Damon Zimmer potted a pair of goals in a losing effort for Minot. Joseph Harguindeguy and Isaac Keller also found the back of the net. AJ Ruskowski took the loss in goal, making 23 saves.
