Bergstrom Leads Cook County Over South Ridge

David Bergstrom pounded home 25 points to lead his Cook County Vikings to a 53-33 win over the South Ridge Panthers on Tuesday night.

While Bergstrom was handling the scoring duties the entire Viking team was shutting down the Panthers allowing only 12 field goals for the entire game, Cook County led the game 30-15 at the intermission break.

Leading the Panthers was Kody Karppinen with 13 points and Dan Wood with nine points. Also scoring for the Panthers were; Robby McQuade with five and both Dominic Janke and Drew Janke added two points.

Bergstrom wasn’t the only Viking in double figures as Dylan Quaife also added 13 points while Collin Everson scored six, Kale Boomer added five and it was two points each for Mike Shorgren and Jonny Jacobson.
