Hawks Skate Past St. Cloud

It was a four goal first period Friday night that got the Hawks off to a fast start and propelled Hermantown to a 7-1 victory over the fifth ranked Crusaders of St. Cloud Cathedral.

Matt Valure, Parker Simmons, and Tyler Watkins each scored twice as the top ranked Hawks won their 10th straight contest, and move to 10-1-1 on the season.

The Crusaders fall to 9-2-2 overall.

The Hawks will play Grand Rapids Tuesday night in Hermantown. The Thunder Hawks are currently ranked third in Class AA.
