Cloquet Boys Continue To Tear Up Little League Tournament

The Cloquet boys 13 yr olds baseball team remained on a tear Thursday by beating Duluth Central by a score of 14-4 at the Little League state tournament at Braun Park.
In the first two days of the tournament, Cloquet has outscored their opponants by a 28-7 margin.
Esko rebounded from Wednesday’s loss to beat eastern by a score of 10-9.

The Hermantown 10-11 yr team had a rough day, losing to Plymouth-New Hope by a 10-0 margin while the Hermantown 12 yr olds fell to Itasca 9-4.

Cloquet will now play in the championship game at 1:00pm on Saturday. Esko will play Duluth Central in the semi-finals Friday at 2:00pm with the winner squaring off against Cloquet in the championship game.

Hermantown 10-11 yr olds will play in the semi-finals on Friday at 3:00pm, facing Centennial Lakes West. With the loss, the Hermantown 12 yr olds were eliminated but will play in the third place game at 3:30pm on Saturday.
