Section 7AA Baseball Playoffs Preview

Section 7AA kicks off their playoffs on May 31st and these are the 1st round match ups.

In sub-section 1, the Esko Eskomos received a 1st round bye with a 13-7 record. They will play in the 2nd round at 7:00pm in Hermantown.

The 4th seeded Moose Lake Willow River Rebels will battle with the 5th seeded Rush City Tigers at 4:30 in Hermantown. The winner will face the Eskomos at 7:00pm.

The 2nd seeded Aitkin Gobblers and 7th seeded Pine City Dragons will go head to head in Proctor at 2:00pm.

Also in Proctor, the 3rd seeded Mora Mustangs and 6th seeded Crosby-Ironton Rangers, which will be played at 4:30pm. The winner of this game will face the winner of Aitkin and Pine City at 7:00pm.

In sub-section 2, the Proctor Rails received the top seed with a 13-5 record. They will square off with the 8th seeded Eveleth-Gilbert Golden Bears at 2:00pm in Nashwauk.

At 4:30pm in Nashwauk, the 4th seeded Two Harbors Agates will face the 5th seeded Virginia Blue Devils with the winner facing the winners between Proctor and Eveleth-Gilbert.

The 2nd seeded Duluth Marshall Hilltoppers face off with the 7th seeded Mesabi East Giants in Ely at 2:00pm.

Also in Ely, the 3rd seeded Greenway Raiders will battle with the 6th seeded International Falls Broncos with a start time of 4:30pm. The winner of this game will battle the winner between Duluth Marshall and Mesabi East.
