Barnum Avenges Loss, Moves To Seciton 5A Finals

After a
heaartbreaking eight inning defeat to Isle, The Barnum Bomers responded in a big way by beating Upsala 13-3 in 5 innings to start the day on Tuesday. The Bombers then revenged the tough
Thursday loss to Isle with a15-5 drubbing in the second game to move on to the 5A girls softball section finals.

Allainie Hanek-Siltanen had a pair of homers on the day and Jenna Shanda hit two homers in game two to aid the Bombers cause.

Barnum will move on to face #1 seed Osakis at Whitney Park in St. Cloud on Thursday at 5:00pm with the second game to follow. In order for the Bombers to advance to the state tournament they would need to win twice.
