Bolen’s Lead Hawks Over Eskomos

Sierra and Shania Bolen provided all the offense the Hawks would need Thursday night as Hermantown knocked off the Esko Eskomos 63-54 last Thursday in Hermantown.

Shania Bolen led the Hawks with 16 points while sister Sierra added 12 points in the victory. Hermantown raced to a nine point half time lead at 32-23.

Esko stormed back in the second half coming with in two on several occasions and also cutting the lead to 4 with two minutes to play, but free throws turned out to be the difference in the final.

Taylor Vold & Jordyn Thomas each chipped in with  13 points in the Hermantown win.

Esko was led by Ava Gonsorowski who finished with 16 points and was the lone Eskomos that reached double figures in the loss.
