Adam Hanson has had a stellar spring for the Cloquet baseball team and that strong effort continued on Thursday when Hanson pitched a complete game 9-3 victory over Ashland.

The Jacks have
made a habit of winning the big games this year, beating Superior, Hermantown, Hibbing and now Ashland, while falling to undefeated
Proctor by only one run.

While Hanson was striking out nine and allowing only two-earned runs, the Lumberjacks bats were booming and making life easier for him on the mound. Joining the hitting fray were; Derek Anderson who was 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs, Michael Acheson who also went 2-for-4 and Eric Peterson who had an RBI for the Jacks.

Josh Smith led Ashland with a couple of hits in a 2-for-3 effort.

Weather permitting; the Jacks will host Fargo Shanley at 11:00am on Saturday.
