Hermantown was ready to roll Saturday night as the Hawks pounded the Vikings of North Branch by a final score of 59-6 Saturday night at Corey Veech Field in Hermantown.

The Hawks scored 33 first quarter points including two by Zach Brendon as he caught touchdowns passes from Nick Bostrom. Bostrom all hit Thomas Madison on a 33 yard touchdown pass which made it 33-0 after one quarter.

James Lindberg started the scoring for Hermantown when he scored on a 3 yard touchdown run.

Christan Comstock also added a 5 yard touchdown run in the first quarter.

The hawks added two more second quarter touchdowns as Madison caught his second touchdown pass of the game, this one from 19 yards away, and T.J. Gamradt scored on a 58 yard run to close the first half scoring with a Hermantown 47-0 lead.

Comstock scored the third quarters only touchdown on a 58 yard dash and Tanner Johnson closed the Hawks scoring with a 10 yard fourth quarter touchdown run.

The Hawks improve to 9-0 on the season and will hoist Princeton for the section 7AAAA title Friday night in Hermantown.
