Lady Bulldogs WIn 8th Straight Game With 8-0 Shutout

The Carlton Bulldogs have had a quick start to the high school softball season. On Friday afternoon they added win number eight on the season, they have not lost yet this year, by beating Ely 8-0 at Chub Lake Park.

Megan Bodin and Grace Macor combined for eight strikeouts. The shutout was the seventh of the season, with only AlBrook scoring three runs against the Bulldogs in a game earlier in the season.

Amanda Eggert had a sensational game by rapping out a 2-for-2 effort and picking up 3 RBIs and Brook Camps went 2-for-4 including a double.

As mentioned, the win gives the Bulldogs an 8-0 record on the season. They will be back at it on Tuesday when they host the Esko Eskomos.
