Kernz & Kompany All-Star Basketball Roster Announced

Kernz and Kompany have announced its annual rosters for the Duluth Area versus the Iron Range Area in a boys and girls high school basketball showdown. Kernz and Kompany along with St. Luke’s Orthopedics & Sports Medicine are proud to sponsor this annual event.


This year’s All Star Basketball games will be held on Tuesday March 29th at Duluth East High School beginning at 6pm. There will be a skills competition for both boys and girls and a boys and girls all star game that night. The girls all star game is scheduled to start at 6 pm and the boys game at 8.


Girl’s rosters included from the Duluth area include Mary Neumann and Carmen Bergstedt from Hermantown, Jessica Newman and Katie Myhre from Barnum, Alyson Glumac and Keely Deadrick form Esko, Annabel Morrisroe from Cloquet, Makayleigh Cahoon from Cromwell, Macie Dorow from Duluth East and Leah Hamm from Duluth Central.


The Iron Range girl’s team includes Jessa Sondergaard, Jessi Corrick, and Kelly Niles from Grand Rapids, Alissa Autio and Maija Rauvola from Floodwood, Charlotte Overbye from Mountain-Iron Buhl, Maddy Adamczak of Moose Lake-Willow River, Risa Valentini of Chisholm, Megan Vida from Eveleth-Gilbert, and Lashae Brooks form Orr.


The Duluth Area boy’s team consists of Andy Wappes from Cloquet, Cory Kucza of Hermantown, Jake Stainbrook and Adam Eskuri form Esko, Ian Nelson and Johnny Woodard from Duluth East, Joel Lindberg from Superior, Andrew Laughlin, Josh Kimmes, and Cortez Ham all from Duluth Central.


The Iron Range All-Stars consist of Adam Currie from Eveleth-Gilbert, Matt Tourville and Ezra Coughlin from Hibbing, Garrett Larson of Mesabi East, Shawn Filipiak of International Falls, Garrett Larson of LFBF, Sean Fischer of Ely, Jordan Villebrun of Orr, Damon Benham from Deer River and Austin Pohlen of Grand Rapids.
