Esko Tops Grand Rapids

The Esko Eskomos hosted the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks on Monday evening, coming away with the 41-33 victory.

The Eskomos held a 29-23 advantage at the half. The second half would be a low scoring affair with the Eskomos and Thunderhawks combining for just 22 points as Esko outscored Grand Rapids 12-10.

Bailey Mudek led the way for the Eskomos, scoring 18 points which including hitting 5 threes on the night. Following was Ava Gonsorowski with 12 points, Ashley Bergerson with 4, Mandi Dincau with 3, and Molly Trapp and Kailee Kiminski each tallying 2.

Heaven Hamling was the high point for Grand Rapids with 14 points, with Kari Kuschel following with 5, Hannah Morris, Taylor Kane, and Claire Petersen each scoring 4, and Maya Shroeder rounding it out with 2.

The Eskomos move to 19-3 on the season and will look for win number 20 on February 12th when they travel to play Two Harbos. The Thunderhawks drop to 16-5 on the year.
