LSC All-Conference Girls Hockey Selections Announced

The Lake Superior Conference has announced their All-Conference selections for girls hockey and Proctor-Hermantown-Marshall leads the group with three selections on the first team, while Cloquet-Esko-Carlton had two players make the first unit.

Anja Morris led the first team in goal from PHM, while her teammates Emma Stauber and Nicole Mathews a defender and forward respectively, also made the first unit. CEC senior defender Jessie Ryan joined junior forward Dalyce Gustafson on the first team, while Nikki Logergren of Duluth, a junior forward, also made the first team.

CEC’s lone representative on the second team was junior forward Kelly Carlson. Reilly Fawcett of PHM, just a ninth grader, was also on the second team. Joining that pair were three Duluth players including; goalie Megan Hanson, and defenders Ashley Hanson and Kari Romano. Superior’s Jenna Martin was also listed as a second team player.

Sophomore goalie from CEC Alyssa Acheson was named to the honorable mention list along with teammate Emily Gustafson a sophomore forward and sophomore defender Carley Esse. Abby Miner of PHM and Rosie Nelson of Duluth round out the honorable mention list.
