Newman Hits 2000 in MLK Showcase

Brandon Newman scored his 2000th point Monday morning as the Barnum Bombers beat the Hibbing Bluejackets 69-48 at the Martin Luther King Showcase Classic kicked off today at UMD in Duluth.

Newman’s 2000th point came late in the second half in which at the time put Barnum ahead late in the game by 27 points. Chris Carlson added 15 points, Hunter Fetters chipped in with 12, and Mitchell Weller add 11 as the Bombers improved to 15-0 on the season.
