Duluth East fell 4-1 to St. Thomas Academy in a Schwan Cup Gold Division quarterfinal high school boys hockey game Monday afternoon at Ridder Arena in Minneapolis. Brian Bunten scored for Greyhounds, and Lucas Hedin stopped 21 of 25 shots before being relieved by Gunnar Howg midway through the third period. Duluth East (4-3-1) will face either Minnetonka or Edina in a consolation semifinal at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
