Sibley Stops Rebels

The Moose Lake Area Rebels fell in the opening round of the North Shore Holiday Hockey Tournament Monday by a score of 4-1 to Henry Sibley. Wyatt Lampel scored the first goal of the game in the first period coming off an assist from Bryceton Butkiewicz.

Johnny Geiser scored the hat trick over the next two periods for the Warriors as they went on to the three goal victory. Ty Tostrud tied the game at 1-1 early in the second period.

Logan McNaulty stopped 35 of the 39 shots he faced for the Rebels, and Erik Moody stopped 28 shots in the win for the Warriors.

The Rebels play in consolation action Tuesday against Legacy Christian.
