Barnums Wins Again

The 2nd ranked team in the State, the Barnum Bombers, continued their winning streak on Monday night, this time toppling the Proctor Rails 73-47.

The Bombers got out to the 40-26 lead at the half and never looked back. The Bombers held the advantage in the 2nd half, outscoring the Rails 33-21 to secure their 9th consecutive victory.

None other than Brandon Newman led the way for the Bombers, tallying 33 points in the win. Hunter Fetters followed with 14 point, Andrew Naslund added 8, Mitchell Weller pitched in 7, Blake Bonneville, Mason Agurkis, and Dacotah Haley all scored 3, and Tanner Fuglestad topped it off with 2.

In the loss for the Rails, Chase Urie had 13 points, Bryden Urie had 11 points, and Jordan Bergquist hit double figures with 10. Also scoring for Proctor was John Pioro with 8, Cody Fernandez with 3, and Travis Carlson rounding it out with 2.

The Bomber continue their hot start, improving to 9-0 on the year and will look to continue that on December 30th when they battle Virginia at home with a start time of 7:30 PM. The Rails drop to 4-6 on the year and will look to bounce back on December 30th when they play Cromwell at home at 3:00 PM.
