The Hermantown boys hockey dropped a heartbreaker on Saturday, falling to Hopkins in overtime, 2-1.

Hopkins got out the lead in the 2nd period when Nathan Nelsen scored at 9:59. Hermantown would respond however, when Parker Hawk scored at the 15:43 mark with assists from Kyle Amundson and Tanner Kimball. The Hawks would fall in overtime however, when Nelsen scored his 2nd goal for Hopkins on a power play just 49 seconds into the overtime period.
