Cromwell Shoots Past Carlton

The Cromwell Cardinals topped the Carlton Bulldogs by a score of 80-60 in a Polar League match up Friday night in Cromwell. Tyler Hakamaki’s 23 points led the Cards to the win.

Ken Fox, head coach of the Bulldogs stated “we made too many mistakes, didnt take care of the basketball, and we didn’t shoot well” Fox told Northland Sports Online. “we wanted to play up tempo but we started slow only scoring 21 points in the first half.”

Cromwell started past as they built up a 41-21 lead in the first half, and the second half saw both teams put up 39 points on the board.

Tyler Hakamaki scored 23 points in the win for the Cardinals, he was followed by Tyler Randall who chipped in with 18, and Brandon Fairbanks who added 15, while Austin Pfisthner pitched in with 10 points on the night.

Adam Ermatinger scored 23 to led the Bulldogs, while Dom Bennett finished with 10, while Jackson Mickle and Cade Pierson each ended with 9 in the Carlton loss.
