Proctor Bests Greenway 48-44

The Proctor Rails picked up their second win of the season as the Rails come from behind to beat the Greenway Raiders at home Wednesday night. Proctor trailed by three points by halftime at a score of 25-22. The second half comeback was complete as the Rails won by four, 48-44 in this non-conference match up.


The Rails who trailed much of the game, found themselves trailing late in the second half by a score of 44-41. The Rails however, would go on a 7-0 run over the last minute and a half of the game to come away with the four point win.


Anders Voss was the big gun for the Rails Wednesday, finishing with 21 points on the night in the Proctor win. Kaz Anderson and Iziah Schramm each ended with 8 points on the night for the Rails. The rest of the scoring included Tyler Schubert with 6 points, Tyler Haedrich with 4 and Charlie Burns closed out the scoring with 1 point on the night.


The Raiders were led by Trevor Craiglow, who finished with 13 points, John Hakala added 11, Jordan Hoeft and Aaron Hallman each added 6 points, John Madden scored 5, and Cole Clusian rounded out the scoring with 3 points in the loss.


The Rails move to 2-3 overall on the season and are back in action again on December 29th and 30th as the Rails host their own Holiday Tournament. The Rails will face Carlton in the opening round while AlBrook-Cotton will take on Deer River.
