The Cloquet-Carlton Lumberjacks only needed one goal Saturday as it was Kayla Baker scoring at the 555 minute mark of the second half to give the Lumberjacks the shutout win at Public Schools Stadium in Duluth.

Anna Fossen had the assist for the Lumberjacks Saturday as they finish their season at 8-8 and they will start tournament play this week.

Brandi Nelson was the winning goalie as she stopped 2 shots from the Hunters while Rachel Carl stopped 7 of the 8 shots she faced.

The defending section champions fall to 7-7-1 on the season and they close out their regular season play Monday afternoon when they will face the Hawks in Hermantown.
