MLWR 65 Hermantown 64

Adam Johnson hit two clutch free throws down the stretch as the Rebels withstood a late challenge by the Hawks. Trevor Nummela led the Rebels with 16 points on the Night. Corey Kucza and Spencer Johnson led all scorers for Hermantown, finishing finished with 19 points each.

AlBrook 69 Wrenshall 64

Bryce Karppinen crossed the 1000 point threshold Thursday night as the AlBrook-Cotton Falcons defeated the Wrenshall Wrens by five points in this Section 7A battle. Brett Johnson led all scorers with 28 points for Wrenshall; he also nailed five 3-pointers in the loss.

Girls

Duluth Marshall 48 Wrenshall 27

The Marshall Hilltoppers built up a 14 point halftime lead and never looked back as the Toppers rolled to the twenty-one point win at Wrenshall. Tarin Hedquist led the Toppers with 15 points on the night. Maria Burcar led the Wrens with 13 points in the losing effort.
