The Lumberjacks welcomed Crosby-Ironton to town on Tuesday, but fell in the match-up 5-2

In singles, Cloquets Rosalie Lundquist fell to Emily Froidcoeur 6-0 and 6-1. Cloquet would fall again as Kali Kadelbach fell to Abby Gindorff 6-1 in both sets. Crosby-Ironton would get another as Kari Watson beat Mackenzie Ketola 6-2 and 6-0. Crosby-Ironton got the clean sweep in sinless, as Cloquet’s Lindsey Lamirande fell to Madeline Oren 6-1 in both sets.

In doubles action, Abbey Wangen and Countney Ketola fell to Crosby-Ironton’s Bonnie Holmvig and Mikaela Hartman. Lexi Robideaux and Hailey Martin got the first win for Cloquet as they beat Abigail Froidcoeur and Liz Kuhlman. Crosby-Ironton responded with the final win of the evening when Maddie Kertzmann and Sage Stangel topped Annika Hammitt and Courtney Beaupre.

CEC falls to 1-6 on the year and will look for a win on September 25th when they match up with Duluth Denfeld.
