AlBrook – Cotton Choose New Name and Mascot

The Communities surrounding the AlBrook and Cotton Schools have spoken and the verdict is in on a new school name and colors.

Starting in the fall of 2011, students attending the
new school currently being built just east of the town of Alborn will be know as “South Ridge Panthers.” The new school colors will be black, silver and royal blue.

AlBrook and Cotton, which have already started combining sports to include football and boys basketball, will close at the end of the 2010-2011school year.
