The Duluth East Greyhounds traveled to Proctor on Monday night in a game that was very lopsided. The Greyhounds pressed down on the throttle and toppled the Rails 13-0.

Just 3 minutes into the game, Sam Brickley connected with Darby Henderson to start the scoring frenzy. In the 6th minute, Brandon Adams hit the back of the net with the assist coming from Matt Sorensen to put the Greyhounds up 2-0 early. They weren’t done there, as Henderson got his second goal at the 7 minute mark with Sorensen getting another assist. The Greyhounds scored their 4th goal in the first 10 minutes when Chris Lucca scored from an assist from Brickley. Lucca would score his second goal off another Sorensen assist. Sorensen would notch his 5th assist of the game connecting with Lucca for Lucca’s 3rd goal in the first half. Miles Hamel got the final score in the first half for the Greyhounds, giving them the 8-0 lead going into halftime.

In the second half, Brickley scored his 2nd goal of the game at the 43rd minute. Hamel would get his second and third goals of the game at the 47th and 49th minute, with Nick Friday assisting on the first one. Friday got another assist, connecting with Bryce Holak in the 71st minute. Holak got his second goal with Caleb Komarek hitting him with the pass at the 77th minute to finalize the scoring in the 13-0 win for the Greyhounds.

Hugh VanScoy  and Corrado Rosato didnt record a save for the Greyhounds. Aaron Punney blocked 4 in the loss for Proctor.

Duluth East improves to 3-3-3 on the season and will look to win again when they play the Duluth Denfeld Hunters (4-4) at home on September 18th. Proctor drops to 1-6 on the year and will look to bounce back on September 18th when they host the CEC Lumberjacks (5-3-1)
