Bulldogs Crush Mercs

The Carlton Bulldogs and McGregor Mercuries faced off last season in the Section 7A championship, which saw the Bulldogs winning and making the trip to the State tournament.

In a rematch of last year Section 7A championship, it was much of the same as the Bulldogs steamrolled the Mercuries, 3-0 winning the matches 25-12, 25-13, and 25-10.

Macy Belich led the way for the Bulldogs, piling up 10 kills on the evening. Also performing spectacularly was Grace Macor who tacked on 9 kills and Lindsey Ermatinger who added 6 kills in the victory for the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs remain hot, starting the season off 3-0, and they will look to continue this streak on September 8th when they face the Northeast Range (3-1). The Mercuries fall to 0-3 on the season and will play in a tournament on September 6th.
