Hermantown Bests Duluth Denfeld

The Hermantown Hawks bounced back well on Tuesday night after their loss on Monday, topping the Duluth Denfeld Hunters 13-3 in 6 innings.

Grabbing the W for the Hawks on the mound was Luke Jacques who pitched all 6 innings giving up 2 earned runs on 7 hits, walking 1 while striking out 6.

Kole Zuidmulder led the offensive way in the victory, going 3-4, driving in 3 runs and scoring 2 of his own. Scott Wasbotten also had a nice day at the plate going 3-5 with 3 runs batted in.

For Duluth Denfeld, Nick Thompso went 2-3 and drove in a run.

The Hawks improve to 2-2 on the year and will play the Esko Eskomos on the road on May 9th. Duluth Denfeld drops to 0-7 after a pair of losses on Tuesday and will search for their first win on May 7th when they welcome Grand Rapids to town.
