DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – Weather has forced this weekend’s St. Scholastica softball home games from Duluth to Forest Lake High School.

Game Schedule:
Friday vs. Martin Luther – 6 p.m. (DH) (Forest Lake HS)
Saturday vs. North Central – 1 p.m. (DH) (TBA)

 

The Saints are on a 14-game winning streak with all coming in conference games.
– The Saints took home their latest wins against Northland College 11-9 and 13-2 on Wednesday.
-In the 11-9 victory, the Saints scored seven runs in the seventh to win. The last time CSS scored seven in the seventh to come back and win was against Otterbein College in 2010. However, the Saints only trailed 10-9 entering that inning.
– The Saints have three batters that are hitting at least .400 this season. Four different Saints have hit five home runs. Rendi Johnson (Bonney Lake, Wash./Bonney Lake HS) and Kara Warren (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Denfeld HS) are both hitting at least .400 and each have five home runs.
-Warren has already recorded 17 doubles, which is tied for the fourth-most in a season in program history.
-The Saints have already hit 30 home runs this season, which is four shy of the single-season program record.
-CSS has reached the 20-win plateau for the sixth straight season.
Chrisi Mizera (Frankfort, Ill./Lincoln-Way East HS) leads the conference with a 3.05 earned run average. She is second in the UMAC with 77 strikeouts.
Micah McGuiness (Forest Lake, Minn./Forest Lake HS) is second in the conference with eight wins and third in the league with 60 strikeouts.
– Saints pitching leads the UMAC in every category.
