Cloquet In Playoff Round Of Lakeview Classic

The Cloquet American Legion baseball team finished out pool play with a 2-1 record in the Lakeview Classic baseball tournament on Saturday. The pair of wins propel them into the playoff round beginning at 9:00am at Mettner Field in Cloquet.

Cloquet began the tournament with a 6-5 loss to Maple Grove on Friday. On Saturday they rebounded with a 2-1 win over St. Paul Archade-Phalen and finished out pool play with a 7-0 win over Ashland.
The pool play games
were shortened to 5 innings because of Friday’s rains.
