Adam Hanson tossed a seven-hitter complete game as the Cloquet baseball team downed Duluth Central 12-1 in six innings on Tuesday afternoon at Central.

The Lumberjacks also had a HUGE game out of Joey Singpiel, who smashed a home run as well as picking up three RBIs. August Reynolds went 2-for-2 with three runs scored and a double for the Jacks. Tyler Tollerud chipped in with a 2-for-3 effort and three runs scored, while Thomas Rogers also went 2-for-3 for the Lumberjacks.

Central was led by Mac Rogers, Mac Tobin and Jordan DeCaro who all slapped out a pair of hits.

Hanson was stellar on the mound for Cloquet by allowing only one earned run, one walk and also picking up five strike outs in earning the victory.

The win moves Cloquet’s overall record to 14-4. They will host Proctor at 2:30pm Wednesday at Mettner Field in a make-up game that will showcase two of the area’s top baseball teams.
