Section 7AA Prelims held Wednesday

The section 7AA boys and girls prelims were held in Zimmerman, which set up qualifiers for the section championship meet this Saturday also back at Zimmerman.

Richard Seju and Maija Doran of Cloquet qualified in both the 100 and 200 meter dashes for Cloquet in the section finals Saturday.

Some other local qualifiers included Connor Behm from Duluth Denfeld in the 400 meter dash, Ava Meyer from Duluth East in the girls 400 meter dash.

Ryan Kero and Chase Hren both qualified in the 800 meter run for Hermantown, Lucy Robb from Duluth East was the top finisher in the 100 & 300 meter hurdles, and it Issac Gilchrist of Cloquet qualified in the 300 meter hurdles.
