Lady Rebels top Wrens

Adri Jusczak scored 19 point Thursday night as the MLWR knocked off the Wrenshall Wrens by a score of 68-26 at Wrenshall High School.

The Rebels used their size advantage inside and went 14-18 from the free throw line as the Rebels picked up the Polar League Conference victory.

Jusczak helped the Rebels build a 37-11 halftime lead then rolled in the second half as they went on to the 42 point road win. Morgan Pracher added 13 points for the Rebels in the victory.

The Wrens were led by Brianna Brim who finished with 14 points on the night, and it was Shanna LaVeau who also chipped in with 6 points in the loss. The Wrens struggled form the charity stripe hitting only 4-18 free throws on the night.

The Rebels improve to 7-2 on the season and they will play at East Central Monday night. The Wrens fall to 1-7 and they will host Onamia on Tuesday.
