Jacks Wrestlers Win Dual Meet

The Cloquet-Esko Wrestling Team Picked up a dual meet victory on Thursday night at Cloquet High School over Ogilvie by a score of 49-24.

The Lumberjacks competing in their second meet of the season opened at the Lakeville Invitational where they finished 13^th in the 15 team meet which featured some of the top wrestling teams in the state.

In the Lakeville meet Mitchell Borchardt placed 2^nd in the 126 weight class, in the 138 weight class Conner Denman was 4^th, and Reid Borchardt was 3^rd in the 145 weight division.

In the dual meet Thursday night the Lumberjacks had 1^st place finishes from Daniel Stevens at 113lbs, David Schober won the 120 class, Seth Stevens topped the 126.

Cloquet-Esko also had first place finishes from Fhenix Savage in 132, Conner Denman at 138, Devan Arntson 145, Reid Borchardt 152, Evan Pokornowski 160, and it was River Demars fist in 182.

The Lumberjacks will have another dual meet on Tuesday afternoon when they will face Rush City/Braham at Braham High School. They will also be in action next Friday in Milaca.
