Proctor Shuts out Eveleth

Three first half goals got things going in the right direction for the Proctor girls soccer team on Tuesday night.  The Rails downed the Eveleth-Gilbert Area Golden Bears 4-0 behind two goals by Lyndsay Burud.

Burud scored in the 12th minute with Britt Zieroth adding an assist and just 12 minutes later it was Sydney Worth adding another goal for the Rails with Bridget Tesser assist to move the lead to 2-0.  Proctor added another goal in the first half from Hannah Dahlgren with the assist going to Lexie Dewall
to make it 3-0 after one half of play.

Burud closed out the scoring in the 76th minute on an assist from Meggan Burud as the Rails built their lead to 4-0.

The Rails only allowed four shots on goalie Kassie Haedtke, while Tori Wallner made 21 saves on 25 shots for Proctor.
