Barnum Girls Make it Three In A Row

The Barnum Bombers won their first three games of the season, all in convincing manner. On Thursday, they continued their roll by beating Carlton 13-1. The Bombers have now outscored their opponents by a margin of 34-3.

Katie Myhre assisted in the win by giving up one run, five hits and striking out one. Myhre, just a freshman, has been doing a wonderful job on the mound this spring.

Katrina Newman, Alyssa Shanda , and Katie Myhre each went 3-4, and each individual scored three runs in the game. Jessica Newman went 2-4 and scored two runs in the win. Offensively, Barnum is hitting over .300 as a team.

The Bombers now improve to 3-0 and are in action on Monday, facing Braham in the Metrodome. The Bulldogs will travel to Hinckley-Finlayson on Friday afternoon, looking to improve on their 2-1 record.
