Proctor-Hermantown Dominate LSC Alpine Ski Team

The Lake Superior Conference has announced their All-Conference Alpine Ski teams over the weekend and the boys side is dominated by Proctor-Hermantown.

Three Proctor-Hermantown athletes were named 1st Team on the boys side led by; Matt Borash, Brandon Viaene and Hans Eggert. Duluth Marshall’s Jonathon Thickens and JB Stender were also named to the team as was Denfeld’s Alex Carlberg.

The boys second team was dominated by both Proctor-Hermantown and Cloquet-Esko-Carlton who both sent three athletes to the team. From P-H were; Ben VanDeelen, Matt Swanstrom and Jack Padden, while CEC added Alex DeRocher, Isaac MacMillen and Sam Sinnott.

The girls first team featured three Proctor-Hermantown skiers Megan Danelski, Olivia Tusa and McKenzie Bremel. Joining that trio were; Marshall’s Cara Hanson, CEC’s Sarah Severson and Denfeld’s Lucy Billings.

The LSC second team included four CEC skiers; Kaitlyn Knutson, Tori Anderson, Carly Boder and Paiged Tranah. Also on the second team were Rachael Humes of Proctor-Hermantown and Marshall’s Kendall Bergerson.
