After a scoreless first period, Cam Boche and Luke Delzer recorded goals just 2:18 apart for the Magicians to open up the game in the second period.

Trevor Kukkonen and Will Schumacher each tallied two scores for the Magicians in the final frame. The Wilderness tried to fight back as Matthew McQuade found the back of the net and Cole Crusberg-Rossen recorded back-to-back Wilderness goals.

Keeper Jacob Zacharewicz was dealt the loss but managed to stop 28 in goal. Brandon Milberg got the win in goal for the Magicians with an amazing effort shutting the door on 29 of 32 tries to snap the Wilderness win streak.
