Rebels Balanced Attack Downs Rangers

The Moose Lake – Willow River Rebels used a balance attack and capitalized on two Jackson Thompson touchdowns as the Rebels defeated Crosby-Ironton 28-6 in Willow River Saturday afternoon.

Logan Overdahl and Thompson each had rushing touchdowns in the first half as the Rebels led 16-0 at halftime.

Thompson’s third quarter punt return of 93 yards increased the Rebel lead to 22-0 after three quarters of play.

Carter Johnson added a late touchdown in the fourth quarter for the Rebels final touchdown.

MLWR improves to 3-0 on the season and will face Aitkin next Friday.
