UMD Women End Regular Season

The remainder of the University of Minnesota Duluth women’s cross country team closed out its regular season action on a split squad weekend with the Bulldogs running 12th at the Lewis University Crossover.

UMD totalled 386 points in the 6K race, with Grand Valley State University taking the podium with 32 points, including Lakers senior Allie Ludge finishing first overall at 22:12.1. Sophomore Mackenzie Hall paced the Bulldogs’ representation, running 23:40.1 for 47th overall. Sophomore Morgan Radel finished at 24:01.3, good for 70th overall, while Melissa Drenckhahn rounded out UMD’s top three, finishing no. 99 at 24:21.2.

UP NEXT
UMD heads to Wayne, Nebraska for the NSIC Championships on Saturday, Oct. 26 on the campus of Wayne State College. Opening gun for the women’s race is currently slated for 10 a.m.
